THE LONE WALK

To get you acquainted with Justin and his story here is a little about him and the concept of The Lone Walk.

Justin was born in Fairfield on October 1977 he was born to Adrian and Yvonne and a brother for Nicole.

He was an active child from the start and enjoyed life, family and friends.

He had many interests including scouts, traveling, sport (avid supporter of South Sydney, Aussie Cricket team and Wallabies).

Most of all Justin enjoyed being in front of or behind a camera be it video camera or still pictures. He had a flare for photography and has many great pictures to compliment his skill of people and landscape.

Justin also loved filming, from short movies to camera work for TV.

Here is an example of a short film Justin choreographed for University. (click here)

Sadly Justin's fight with depression hid under his out going personality and smile and most people did not know he was a sufferer of depression.

The Lone Walk was a project Justin was working on before he passed away to raise awareness of people who suffer with such depression.

The concept of the name The Lone Walk is that it is a lone sufferer who is walking on a road followed by family and friends who are too far behind to give any assistance in the fight with depression, This is how most people of depression find they live day to day, just out of reach of those trying to help.

The Lone Walk is going to come to life through the family and friends of Justin in 12 months time when we will walk from Wagga Wagga to the steps of Parliament house Canberra and raise money to help with the fight for depression awareness.
